You reserve with a 50 pesos (5 USD) deposit, if nobody makes a deposit – nobody shows up ( and Reinhard had to eat ham-and-cheese sandwiches of the no-shows for a week).

or at 9.30 a.m. on Mismaloya Beach,. First we distribute life jackets, fit on the snorkeling equipment, put your drinks on ice, equip the boat etc...
We use a fairly new “Panga” boat with a flat bottom, 24 or 27 feet long, equiped with cushions, sun top, ladder, and a 55 or 125 hp motor. If it should rain without hope of sunshine, if the waves are too high, or if the group is too small (less than 6 persons), the tour would be canceled and the deposit returned, or the tour would be postponed.

Tour Description: We leave from Mismaloya Beach at 10 a.m., and it is only about 5 minutes by boat to the National Park of Los Arcos, where we do snorkeling before the “booze cruises” arrive, and you got all the space and time you want for snorkeling. With our boat we can go close to the places of interest, while the “booze cruises” have to stay far away from the rocks. The tour can adapt to what the customers want.
Reinhard gives snorkeling instructions, and takes you personally around, if you are scared. You got all the time you want for snorkeling, but if everybody else is waiting for you, you should come into the boat again.
From Los Arcos we go by boat to Colomitos Beach, the first beach without a road access. At Boca Tomatlán the road turns south into the mountains, and then there is no road along the coast to the western end of the bay, to Cabo Corrientes. From June to about January there is water in the creek behind Colomitos beach and you can go up into the cañon. You can walk a trail along the coast and come to a cliff, where you can dive off into the ocean. When the waves are not too big, you can get out on a little beach and do it again. You can swim to the boat or continue walking to No-name-beach, where you get picked up again.
We enjoy No-name-beach for a while.
Then we continue by boat to Colamita beach and stay there also some time. We walk to Caballo beach, where the waves grow big. You find shells on Caballo beach. Reinhard climbs a coco nut tree for you (half way).
On Las Animas beach you can have a drink in a restaurant and use their restrooms. Before we eat, we do snorkeling at the rocks of Caletita and at MajahuitasBeach, and finally we will have lunch on the beach. Afterwards you can have a siesta
In summer with low waves we go up to Colimilla beach and have lunch there.
Don´t forget your swim-suit, tanning lotion, and film. You only need rubber sandals on your feet. For refreshments we recommend a brick of juice, water but not only water, you can drink beer, but please, not too much, we are not a “boozecruise”.
The beaches in Mexico are public, behind the beach is private property, we respect this. We are ecologists, we don´t leave any garbage on the beaches.
The tour might be variated according to the prevailing conditions like sea state, weather, or water quality. If we see dolphins or manta rays, we try to observe the migration.
The service is done personally by Reinhard Dressler, degree in physical oceanography of the University of Hamburg, Germany. The business is located on Playa de Mismaloya, Municipio de Puerto Vallarta, the Mexican Tax number R.F.C. is: DEDR441220FX9
Reinhard has also a federal Mexican credencial as a general tourist guide for all Mexico, thus he could show you more places in México. His other personal field of interest besides the ocean is minerals.
